Klapman's Klezmer Band is a highly polished Klezmer ensemble of two to eight members, specializing in the joyous dance and celebratory music of the Eastern European Yiddish, Israeli and Sephardic traditions.
Klezmer music is passionate, tuneful, and very accessible. It can be irresistibly danceable, or played as quieter background music.
Klapman's Klezmer Band has played hundreds of parties over the past ten years, and proudly offers a huge repertoire that ranges from ceremonial music to horas, bulgars, freylachs, waltzes, gems of the Yiddish theatre, Israeli dance medleys, as well as Chassidic classics.
Upon request, the band can also play Swing/Big Band, Latin, Soft Rock, R&B, Motown, and Classical - a demo tape is available.
The band is available in flexible combinations, ranging from duo to septet, and can include vocals - an unbeatable choice for your next simcha!
